[Analysis note] 4 major Korean banks-Asset Quality/Capital Adequacy

<Asset Quality>
We can check how efficiently a bank's risk management system operates with Indexes for asset quality.

Here today I'm gonna check latepayment rate.

KB bank and Woori bank have the highest latepayment rate.
KB bank and Woori bank gave comparatively more loan on real estate industry,
but price of real estate dropped and loans were not payed back because of recession in Korean real estate market.

Shinhan bank and Woori bank had comparatively less receivables for real estate so the  recession in Korean real estate market brought less effect on their asset quality.

<Capital Adequacy>
A bank's capital adequacy is crucial to absorb unexpected losses because of instability of financial markets.

Supervisory authority regulate BIS ratio to be over 8%.
Korean banks have continued to improve financial structure since the huge financial crisis in 2007 and currently they remain over 13%, which is far higher than 8%.

This is the end of my posts about financial status of 4 major Korean banks in terms of Profitability, Asset Quality, and Capital Adequacy:)
